FEIGN’S BACK WITH A “COLD BRUISE”

Feign is undeniably one of the hottest artists coming out of Manchester. His recently released track “Blackheart Heights” is making a ton of noise, and this new release will only stir the pot even further.

Feign returns today with a new single entitled “Cold Bruise”. The record is a marvel of melody. Its melancholy tone mixed with the layered vocals creates an interesting display of emotion. This was a fun listen and Feign seems to be an artist to keep your eye on in the near future.

A viciously fierce yet vulnerable song split into three parts. The switch at 1:27 transcends the song into a nightmarishly catchy dreamscape, juxtaposing the previously upbeat section. After this, the song switches into the final phase, where the suspenseful dreamscape collapses into a plane of solace and vulnerability. The song ends on a series of naked, soul-shakingly touching chords. The track runs in a similar vein to Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Kid Cudi & XXXTentacion.
